OUR POLICY

AEROSMART FOCUS SDN BHD
In addition to the Aerosmart Car Rental Driving Policy, the following conditions shall apply when driving in Malaysia:- Driver’s Qualifications - All staff is advised to have a good eyesight and health check annually. - Must be able to speak & understand English. Driver’s Responsibilities - Wear seatbelt before driving and ensure all other vehicle occupants also wear seat belts. - Carry out pre-trip vehicle inspection before making any trips. - Lodge police report immediately in a case involves of any road accident. - Driver are not allowed in answering cellular phone call or message while driving a vehicle, regardless of whether hands-free device is available or not is prohibited. - For long-hours journey, driver must always stop for light refreshment in every two hours. Vehicles Specification and Safety Equipment - Three point seatbelts are to be used. - All vehicles must be equipped with: spare tyre with jack, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and reflective safety triangle. Local Hazards (Weather conditions) - Rain volume is high in Malaysia. Frequently, rainstorms results in low visibility, partially flooded roads and traffic congestions. Avoid starting any journey during a rainstorm whenever possible. If caught in a rainstorm, reduce driving speed, if necessary, pull off the road in a safe area and wait for clear weather. Other information - Watch out for motorcyclists on the road, as many do not obey to the road regulations, especially at pedestrian crossing, traffic lights and intersections. Be alert and exercise caution at all times. Use the technique of clearing your blind spots before changing lanes and avoid colliding with motorbikes or other vehicles. - Beware of vehicles that “undertake”, pass on the left hand or emergency lane. - Extra caution at the traffic lights as many drive through yellow and red traffic lights.
